Description Paulo Igor 2011-10-13 15:32:09 UTC
Description of problem:

Openbox shipped with Fedora 16 (even LXDE spin) is not the latest *stable release*, much faster and stable.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Probably openbox-3.4.11.2

How reproducible:

Download F16 LXDE spin and in a terminal (in graphical mode): openbox --version.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download F16 LXDE spin
2. Click on lxterminal
3. Type openbox --version and hit enter

Actual results:

Probably openbox-3.4.11.2 (I don't use it right now)

Expected results:

Openbox-3.5.0

Additional info:

Openbox-3.5.0 adds additional features that are expected by openbox and fedora users, like icons in the menus.

Seems you have tested an outdated version of the LXDE spin.

The latest nightly Fedora-16-Nightly-20111013.09-i686-Live-lxde.iso does include openbox-3.5.0-2.fc16, see http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/getfile?taskID=3428666&name=root.log
