Description of problem: Time goes backwards on RHEL4.8 with x86_64 Harpertown L5240 2.GHz cpu with multiple cores active.


Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 4.8


How reproducible: 100% with reproducer code


Steps to Reproduce:
1. g++ ttt.cc -o ttt -lpthread
2. ./ttt
3. Look for "found negative delta" message.
  
Actual results: Time goes backwards.


Expected results: Time should be monotonic.
