Description Dave Allan 2011-10-15 15:09:27 UTC
I needed a list of words containing the string "rv" and noticed that /usr/share/dict/words contains the word "unltraconservative" which I'm pretty sure is not an English word.

Is there an upstream where I should submit this patch? It seems trivial, but there has to be a way of crowdsourcing dictionary improvements like this.

Comment 2 Karel Zak 2012-02-23 15:20:42 UTC
The typo should be fixed in the package words >= 3.0-19 (Fedora 17). Thanks for your report.

Comment 3 Dave Allan 2012-02-23 21:14:20 UTC
Cool, thanks. Funny, looking at my patch, off the top of my head I'm thinking "unlubricant" and "unloyalty" aren't valid words, either, but I'm not really sure what the paradigmatic source for the universe of valid English words would be.
