Description Amir Hedayaty 2011-10-15 17:54:51 UTC
SELinux is preventing /usr/bin/updatedb from 'read' accesses on the directory lldpad.

***** Plugin catchall_labels (83.8 confidence) suggests ********************

If you want to allow updatedb to have read access on the lldpad directory
Then you need to change the label on lldpad
Do
# semanage fcontext -a -t FILE_TYPE 'lldpad'
where FILE_TYPE is one of the following: textrel_shlib_t, locate_var_lib_t, net_conf_t, inotifyfs_t, var_run_t, file_type, bin_t, cert_t, filesystem_type, locale_t, locate_t, etc_t, proc_t, sysctl_crypto_t, abrt_t, lib_t, root_t, usr_t, device_t, etc_t, net_conf_t, nscd_var_run_t, cert_t, var_lib_t.
Then execute:
restorecon -v 'lldpad'

***** Plugin catchall (17.1 confidence) suggests ***************************

If you believe that updatedb should be allowed read access on the lldpad directory by default.
Then you should report this as a bug.
You can generate a local policy module to allow this access.
Do
allow this access for now by executing:
# grep updatedb /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol
# semodule -i mypol.pp

Were you updating?

You probably need to run

# restorecon -R -v /var/lib/lldpad
