Description Jonathan Paulett 2011-10-17 03:37:31 UTC
Description of problem:

Just what it says in the summary: my desktop monitor turns off after 10 minutes of idleness, no matter what I set in 'System Settings->Screen'.

Not sure if this is gnome-screensaver's problem or gnome-power-manager, but trying here first.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gnome-screensaver.x86_64 3.2.0-1.fc16
gnome-power-manager.x86_64 3.2.0-1.fc16

Expected results:

Obey the 'Turn Off After' option in 'System Settings->Screen'

Additional info:

Monitor is a Dell 1908FP

Please update to 3.2.1 and try again. Bugs in the handling of DPMS timeouts have been fixed in that release.

Comment 2 Jonathan Paulett 2011-10-25 00:05:51 UTC
Seems to be fixed. Thanks.

Comment 3 Matthias Clasen 2011-10-25 00:19:42 UTC
Ok, thanks for testing.
