btrfs has nothing to do with filesystem package. Reassigning. We've discussed this a bit in IRC. btrfs is very unhappy with 64k pages and Josef has mentioned it won't be looked at until the 3.3 timeframe. We'll disable btrfs in the kernel for ppc until then. I'll drop this from the blocker list. per comment #2 there is no chance that this will be fixed anytime soon and it can't happen anymore when btrfs is disabled in the kernel [mass update] kernel-3.3.0-4.fc16 has been pushed to the Fedora 16 stable repository. Created the file system & tried to mount it ,though it is not mounting as btrfs file system (says unknown filesystem type 'btrfs'), there is no sign of call trace again. Looks like this has fix for the issue.
