Same thing happened here.. firstboot correctly identified the SBLive, but didn't even attempt to load the module. (from /sbin/lspci) 00:0f.0 Multimedia audio controller: Creative Labs SB Live! EMU10k1 (rev 07) I have the same problem with an SBLive 5.1 card. It appears to be listed correctly in the hwconf file maintained by kudzu but still the moduel emu10k1 is not loading on boot. I have to modprobe the module to get it to load and then I have sound. Closing out bugs on older, no longer supported releases. Apologies for any lack of response. Please attempt to confirm with more recent releases. |
