Created attachment 529591 [details] The X log file contain the crash Description of problem: X crashed and unable to recover when I log off. Normally it should get back to the login screen. When I have the external monitor on, the X will crash and switch to the text mode and keep try to restart itself. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Machine: MacBook 4.1 (Rev F with Intel GMA X3100 graphics card) Software: FC 15 up to date on it and using the gnome 3 shell. xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.15.0-5.fc15.x86_64 How reproducible: 100% of the time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Setup display to external monitor only and turn off LCD display, using normal stander gnome setting-> display. 2. reboot for a fresh start 3. X will start on LCD and external monitor. Login and X will turn off LCD display and switch to external monitor 4. Log out in the Gnome and X start crash in a loop. Actual results: X crashed in a loop. Expected results: Back to login screen. Additional info: I attached the crash X log file. Please let me know if you need any information. This is very reproducible.
