Description of problem:
while installing fedora-15-i386 from dvd media, a fresh installation procedure always terminates at the msg "fatal error when installing the dejavu-sans-fonts package ... ... Installation cannot continue."

Did you use media check before beginning installation with this media?

Yes, I did and like in every other case it failed. Previously, I've installed several redhat clones and everytime media check failed but still installation went fine!!! This time also, after the failed FC15 attempt, Scientific Linux 5.2 has been installed succesfully and ofcourse, media check failed beforehand!

This is an indication that there is something wrong with either your downloaded copy, your burner, your media, or your reader.  Regardless, there's nothing really that anaconda can do here.
