Description Heiko Adams 2011-10-23 23:10:24 UTC
Description of problem:
When trying to subscribe to rss feeds in firefox thunderbird is missing in the list of feed aggregators. So you have to copy&paste the feed url from firefox to thunderbird and subscribe manually to the feed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
thunderbird-7.0.1-1.fc16.i686

How reproducible:
allways

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start thunderbird and make shure its registered as default application
2. start firefox
3. open a feed url (i.e. http://www.android-user.de/rss/feed/full)

Actual results:
thunderbird isn't listed as possible feed aggregator

Expected results:
thunderbird should be listed as feed aggregator

Additional info:
running "thunderbird feed:%url" from terminal works fine

You have to choose thunderbird in Edit->Preferences->Applications, choose "WebFeed" and "Use Other" and register thunderbird here (as /usr/bin/thunderbird). Works fine for me. The default application in Gnome is for mails only.
