Does the black screen appear before or after you log in ? It appears only after login. I do have to admit there are multiple things that happen when logged in, 10 desktops, and probably 12 terminal instances from gnome-terminal, xchat, evolution, rhythmbox, etc. The only thing visible after the login for many seconds is the background, guess I need to time it to see how long it lasts. Sweet. The issue is gone in gdm-3.2.1 |
