The Fedora 16 rpm of gnome-power-manager does no longer contain a binary 'gnome-power-manager', just 'gnome-power-statistics'

May be a special case of bug #752589? On my machine the lid switch is likewise ignored. Seems to be a key event handling thing in the desktop, ACPI is generating events just fine.

I get this on both my laptops as well. One is old Dell Inspiron 6400 the other a new Lenove E520. Same behaviour, press power button -> nothing

Some update fixed it for me (I updated from updates-testing). Only thing is that it does not work from the login chooser (GDM), but only if I press the button at the desktop of a logged in user.

Great, thanks.
