Description Corey Welton 2011-10-24 18:39:02 UTC
Description of problem:
when user tries to sync a repo, particularly a large one, the status bar never updates.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a provider and a product, "Fedora", "F15"
2. Create a repo in "F15" for fedora, to sync main fedora rpm repo
3. Create a provider and a product, "Google", "talk plugin
4. Create a repo in "talk plugin", pointing to the google talk plugin repo.
5. Attempt to sync both

Actual results:
the fedora repo, which has thousands of packages in it, visually appears to be stuck, no updates.
the google repo, which has only one package, completes.

In both cases, however, the user is given little indication of this since the status bar does not update. Only when it is "Completed" does the user know so.

Expected results:

This was reported in October. Is this still a problem?

Comment 3 Mike McCune 2013-08-16 17:58:46 UTC
getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
