Description Russell Bryant 2011-10-24 20:55:26 UTC
Use these notes to get started with compiling Matahari on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid).

https://fedorahosted.org/pipermail/matahari/2011-October/002151.html

I was able to run a Matahari agent from the build directory. Next we need to get "make install" doing the right things. We may need to install different files or put things in slightly different locations in some cases. For example, will the same init script we have work, or do we need to make a slightly different version for some reason? /etc/sysconfig doesn't exist, so we'll need to put /etc/sysconfig/matahari somewhere else. I'm not sure what other issues we'll hit.
