is this going to get fixed anytime soon? this bug is critical because it fully prevents custom spins and respins.

is there a workaround?

Using "createrepo --compress-type bz2" is the workaround I'm using.

Can you include Remi's patch for Bug #636601 too? That one remains unfixed since F-14 and I've been having to patch it myself locally.
