ESC does not close dialog & Enter does not submit the dialog in most cases:

Assigning to Vojtech, that is already assigned to Bug 749590 which seems related (maybe even a duplicate).

Einav is right, fixing Bug 749590 will fix this bug as well (it can be considered as duplicate).

Bug 749590 describes the ENTER/ESC key handling issue in a more general & technical way, this bug is actually the same thing but lists all the specific dialogs which are affected by it.

Patch for Bug 749590 has just been posted to Gerrit, awaiting review.
