Description Dave Allan 2011-10-26 13:34:50 UTC
abrt version: 1.1.18
architecture: x86_64
Attached file: backtrace, 12691 bytes
cmdline: /usr/bin/xwrits +clock +breakclock t=55 b=5 +cheat=10
component: xwrits
Attached file: coredump, 786432 bytes
crash_function: x_error_handler
executable: /usr/bin/xwrits
kernel: 2.6.35.12-90.fc14.x86_64
package: xwrits-2.24-6.fc12
rating: 4
reason: Process /usr/bin/xwrits was killed by signal 6 (SIGABRT)
release: Fedora release 14 (Laughlin)
How to reproduce: This is the second or third time I've seen xwrits crash on startup. It starts in exactly the same way via startup applications everytime I login to gnome, so I'm not sure what triggers it. Hope the backtrace helps.

I'm afraid I'm not terribly good at debugging X issues...

Is this still reproducible? If so, could you try out the packages here and let me know if they help at all? If so, I'll plan to push this release to f15 at least...

Comment 3 Dave Allan 2011-12-02 19:12:16 UTC
It only happens very occasionally; if the backtrace isn't helpful, I'd say we can close this as F14 is pretty much at the end of its road and I'll be updating to F16 next week.

Comment 4 Jeff Layton 2011-12-03 00:27:39 UTC
Ok fair enough, please reopen this for f16 if the problem shows back up!
