Package: virt-manager-0.9.0-6.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Comment ----- Was removing a virtual machine with its image on the hard drive. Package: virt-manager-0.9.0-6.fc16 Architecture: x86_64 OS Release: Fedora release 16 (Verne) Comment ----- In virt-manager I tried to Connect an ISO-fle to IDE CDROM 1. 1. Open a VM (Open button) 2. Go to Details (Show Virtual Hardware Details) 3. Go to IDE CDROM 1 4. Press Connect button (A dialog box tries to open but fails) 5. Close VM 6. Close virt-manager (abrt-applet appears) Okay I think the following upstream patch fixes this, not sure why it suddenly started causing crashes though: http://git.fedorahosted.org/git?p=virt-manager.git;a=commit;h=930a321f8e411cd02f4f43c193f967763e8b6e5c Basically there was a crash any time a VM details window was fully uninstantiated, which happens on app close or when a VM is deleted or disappears for any other reason. cole: virt-manager's been crashing in any light breeze for me for weeks, I only got around to reporting it recently though. Hi Cole, Your fix works for me, virt-manager no longer crashes. My very complex steps (:-)) to find this crash, contains another issue. The connect button is still doing nothing. Open another report for this? Thanks, Martin Kho martin, if the connect button isn't working please open another bug report. thanks!
