SELinux is preventing plymouthd from 'search' accesses on the directory 1277. ***** Plugin catchall (100. confidence) suggests *************************** If you believe that plymouthd should be allowed search access on the 1277 directory by default. Then you should report this as a bug. You can generate a local policy module to allow this access. Do allow this access for now by executing: # grep plymouthd /var/log/audit/audit.log | audit2allow -M mypol # semodule -i mypol.pp Additional Information: Source Context system_u:system_r:plymouthd_t:s0 Target Context system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 Target Objects 1277 [ dir ] Source plymouthd Source Path plymouthd Port <Unknown> Host (removed) Source RPM Packages Target RPM Packages Policy RPM selinux-policy-3.9.16-39.fc15 Selinux Enabled True Policy Type targeted Enforcing Mode Enforcing Host Name (removed) Platform Linux (removed) 2.6.40.6-0.fc15.i686.PAE #1 SMP Tue Oct 4 00:44:38 UTC 2011 i686 i686 Alert Count 3 First Seen Fri 21 Oct 2011 07:03:20 PM MST Last Seen Fri 21 Oct 2011 07:03:22 PM MST Local ID 1cca9a5b-a9ed-4f9e-b1cc-98af60d77b81 Raw Audit Messages type=AVC msg=audit(1319249002.835:38): avc: denied { search } for pid=837 comm="plymouthd" name="1277" dev=proc ino=18198 scontext=system_u:system_r:plymouthd_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:system_r:xdm_t:s0-s0:c0.c1023 tclass=dir Hash: plymouthd,plymouthd_t,xdm_t,dir,search audit2allow #============= plymouthd_t ============== allow plymouthd_t xdm_t:dir search; audit2allow -R #============= plymouthd_t ============== allow plymouthd_t xdm_t:dir search;
