Fix committed to Rawhide git. Not built yet. gnome-python2-2.28.1-7.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/gnome-python2-2.28.1-7.fc16 Package gnome-python2-2.28.1-7.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing gnome-python2-2.28.1-7.fc16' as soon as you are able to. On a x64_64 custom live image (with some i686 packages) I ended up with gnome-python2-2.28.1-4.fc15.x86_64 with pygtk2-2.24.0-3.fc15.i686 as resolution of the pygtk2 requirement. That didn't work. gnome-python2 on x86_64 will use python.x86_64 and it thus can't use the python libraries from pygtk2.i686. It would be solved by using Requires: pygtk2%{?_isa} >= %{pygtk_version} ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Explicit_Requires )
