This is expected - the graphics hardware provided by VMWare is not enough at this time to run the full GNOME 3 experience. Actually, have you enabled 3D accleration in your VMWare configuration? I added it to the config, but it doesn't work. I have read that vmware player doesn't support them, but virtual box does. This should be working with llvmpipe in F17 if you don't have the guest additions installed. It may even be working with the vmwgfx 3d driver as well. If you still have issues with this in F17, please reopen this bug. |
