Description of problem:
rpm repackage option is not available.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
# rpm -qa | grep rpm
rpm-libs-4.8.0-17.el6.x86_64
rpm-build-4.8.0-17.el6.x86_64
rpm-4.8.0-17.el6.x86_64
rpm-python-4.8.0-17.el6.x86_64


How reproducible:
Run the following command
# rpm --repackage
--repackage: unknown option


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login to RHEL61 machine
2. check the rpm version using rpm -qa | grep rpm
3. run the command
rpm --repackage
  
Actual results:
Option is not supported.

Expected results:
Option should be supported.

Additional info:
I have tried to identify whethere is there any update on repackage option in rhel61. but I did not find however I am still trying to find updates on this.

I have tried the same command in rhel5, it is working and option is available.

I am not sure where to port this query and also not sure that whether it is really a bug or not. Please consider my request and provide me a solution like if it is a bug, how to handle repackage option to avail rollback facility provided by rpm.

--repackage / --rollback support was removed from rpm upstream between RHEL 5 and 6 because its essentially an unsupportable feature. Rpm's rollback was never actually officially supported on RHEL 5 either, RHN has its own rollback mechanism which is the recommended and supported method.
