In some apps Ctrl+Insert doesn't work while Ctrl+C (or right-click+Copy) does.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

I am running RHEL6.2 nightlies

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run gtk-demo
2. choose Dialog and Message Boxes -> Message Dialog
3. select part of the text and try to copy it e.g. to gedit

Accepting this for 6.3.

Comment 6 Karel Srot 2011-12-23 10:43:25 UTC
Some more details...

When copying text from some applications (e.g. mentioned gtk-demo dialog box) with Ctrl+Insert it seems that the text is stored in some "strange" clipboard.
I can see the text in glipper and I can paste it to the gnome-terminal but I am unable to paste it to gedit,firefox,dictionary.. applications. These applications are pasting a different content instead.

Comment 7 Tomas Pelka 2011-12-23 10:45:36 UTC
Thanks to Karel I'm also able to reproduce, see comment 6.
