Description of problem:
I've connected my box via Android USB tethering. I wanted to switch back to wireless connection again but I lost signal level values.. see attached picture

Not a lot we can do about this due to the way the applet and GTK interact when displaying the menu, unfortunately...  going to punt to 6.4 unless it's really important.  The problem is that the menu gets drawn when it's displayed and it's difficult to get GTK to reposition the menu while it's displayed.  I tried a while back (like 2 years ago) and couldn't get it to work but maybe jklimes can come up with a solution.

Honestly we're not going to fix this for RHEL6, but since the applet is gone for RHEL7, it's not a problem there.
