this screenshot shows what is going on .. we have signal levels on another screen
Not a lot we can do about this due to the way the applet and GTK interact when displaying the menu, unfortunately... going to punt to 6.4 unless it's really important. The problem is that the menu gets drawn when it's displayed and it's difficult to get GTK to reposition the menu while it's displayed. I tried a while back (like 2 years ago) and couldn't get it to work but maybe jklimes can come up with a solution. This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if still desired, for consideration in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This request was erroneously removed from consideration in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4, which is currently under development. This request will be evaluated for inclusion in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.4. This request was not resolved in time for the current release. Honestly we're not going to fix this for RHEL6, but since the applet is gone for RHEL7, it's not a problem there. |
