Description Michal Nowak 2011-11-03 16:18:35 UTC
Description of problem:

DumpLocation = /tmp, abrt_anon_write policy boolean set to 1, abrt-ccpp service restarted, crashed `sleep' but the file 'package' was not created and some other file weren't created too, e.g. the sosreport tarball:

$ abrt-cli list -f
Directory:      /tmp/ccpp-2011-11-03-16:58:35-7162
executable:     /bin/sleep
time: Thu 03 Nov 2011 04:58:35 PM CET
uid:            500

$ ls -1 /tmp/ccpp-2011-11-03-16\:58\:35-7162/
analyzer
architecture
cmdline
coredump
environ
executable
hostname
kernel
maps
os_release
reason
time
uid

The only syslog msg wrt abrt is:

abrt[7164]: saved core dump of pid 7162 (/bin/sleep) to /tmp/ccpp-2011-11-03-16:58:35-7162.new/coredump (319488 bytes)

Comment 1 Nikola Pajkovsky 2011-11-10 10:45:47 UTC
looks like you've killed two sleep commands in parallel w/ different argument. you have to wait till sosreport finish his job and after that, you will see rest of missing files.
