2.4 has been released. Rebased patch adding IPv6 support is available too. 2.5 has been released. Rebased patch adding IPv6 support is available too. I did something on the rebase things, so taking this bugzilla. At the moment I stuck on the upstream nss implementation - upstream configure from some strange reason doesn't recognize available headers - so I could either switch links back to openssl or continue investigation.
