The change to grub2 is a huge change and needs to be documented in the Installation Guide. As a minimum, the new grub.cfg format should be documented as reasonably adept users will at least be able to figure out to look in /boot/grub2, and the new name, while (unnecessarily) new, is pretty obvious. But once you look inside that file, nothing is obvious.

Thanks, John. We were alerted to this in another bug, and I'm rewriting the relevant sections of the guide at the moment, with indeed an emphasis on the new grub.cfg format.
