Description Eric Sammons 2011-11-08 18:32:43 UTC
Description of problem:
When editing a user there is a message dialog between Change Password and Confirm Password that provides indication if a password is too short, weak, good, etc... However, the Password mismatch error / warning appears to be javascript and is cosmetically inconsistent with other warnings and errors.

In addition, during automated testing it was discovered that the javascript only functions correctly when the window is focused and active. While I have not found any indication that this will cause user impact it is worth noting.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
katello-headpin-0.1.100-1.git.138.54a3ea4.el6.noarch

How reproducible:
Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
Select password-mismatch() from users.clj or ... follow steps below

1. Navigate to Administration/Users
2. Select a user to edit
3. Enter a password in Change Password text field.
4. Enter a password in the confirm password field, this password should _not_ match.

Actual results:
Passwords do not match text will appear below the confirm password field.

Expected results:
Cosmetically this warning or dialog should probably be one of the warnings that appears in the dialog between change and confirm fields as done so for other password verification scenarios.

Also, if possible this warning should function correctly regardless of window status / focus status.

The password mismatch error notice appears in consistent locations upstream.
