Description joshua 2011-11-09 02:24:44 UTC
Description of problem:

While running this command on my multiboot MacBook Pro installed with Fedora 16, OSX, and Windows7:

sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /tmp/blah

I see, among other lines, this line:

Found Mac OS X on /dev/sda2

However, /tmp/uuu.new doesn't contain any mention to Mac OS X or /dev/sda2.

If we are detecting it, shouldn't we be writing it? I'll note that Windows7 is on /dev/sda4, and while it was detected and added to grub2.cfg via anaconda, it isn't detected when running grub2-mkconfig by hand. This may also be the same or related bug.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

grub2-1.99-12.fc16.x86_64
