Description Petr Muller 2011-11-11 12:47:19 UTC
Description of problem:

Sometimes 'backup', sometimes 'back-up' is used in chapter 3.1.1. CVS Overview. I'm not a native speaker and I'm not sure what is the correct spelling, but I think it should be consistent.

Grepping whole document for all occurences is probably a good idea.

Comment 1 Jacquelynn East 2011-11-13 23:47:23 UTC
The use of the hyphen determines the usage of the word. Specifically:

(1) Verb: You should always back up important files.
(2) Noun: You should create a backup of your important files.
(3) Adjective: The back-up copies of important files should be kept in a secure location.

I double checked all three occurences of this throughout the document and verified that the correct version was used. Closing this as not a bug.
