The use of the hyphen determines the usage of the word. Specifically: (1) Verb: You should always back up important files. (2) Noun: You should create a backup of your important files. (3) Adjective: The back-up copies of important files should be kept in a secure location. I double checked all three occurences of this throughout the document and verified that the correct version was used. Closing this as not a bug. |
