Description Italo Maia 2011-11-11 21:09:38 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm looking for a way to add cedilla "ç" to my keyboard layout. So far, '+c that should result in "ç" result in a c with accute. Anyway, the real problem happens when I add 4 possible layouts to my keyboard and keep changing between them. Fedora 16 freezes and I have to hard reset.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Easy.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Add 3 keyboard layouts to your keyboard.
2.Switch between them.
3.Fedora freezes!

Actual results:
Freeze.

Expected results:
System would not get unstable and freeze.

Additional info:
"ç" seems impossible with my asus eeepc 1201N US keyboard.

What is the kernel panic you get?

Comment 2 Italo Maia 2011-11-15 08:48:55 UTC
Don't know. System freezes and I have to hard reset. I'm unable to get system log. Used hardware was Asus eeepc 1201N.

What commands are necessary to reproduce this ?
Without a backtrace, we can't really do anything here.

Comment 4 Italo Maia 2011-11-16 01:37:57 UTC
Change the keyboard layout, using gnome3 interface, a few times in a row and the problem should happen. That's how i reproduce it.

Comment 5 Josh Boyer 2012-02-29 18:23:22 UTC
Do you still have this issue with the 3.2.7 or newer kernels?
