There is no headphone mixer control volume

Description of problem: I have just installed fedora 15 in my sony vaio laptop. there is no headphone connector device in alsa mixer settings.So when i plugged in headphone then sound is not working in headphone even it's working in speakers.

How reproducible:    Every time


Steps to Reproduce:
1. plug in headphones
2. play sound
3. put headphone in ear
4. hear sound coming from speakers not from headphone

  
Actual results:
hear sound only from speakers

Expected results:
Hear sound only from headphone

Additional info:  Volume control option not showing headphone connector.

Sorry but this doesn't sound like a problem with alsa-firmware.
alsa-firmware contains firmware drivers for a very small number of specialist 
sound cards only and this does not include HDA Intel.

Please be aware that problems with sound can be caused by many different
software components within a Fedora system (including ALSA kernel modules,
PulseAudio, desktop volume controls, individual applications and more) and
you may find it easier to get some informal help to track down the problem 
before filing bugs (if necessary), so that you can file them against the 
right component and the appropriate person can help.

If you still believe that your problem is with alsa-firmware, please re-open this bug with further details. Alternatively, if you identify the software causing the problem, you could change the Component accordingly and re-open it.
