You should be able to Enable PAM Home Directory Module by host group from the web UI instead of running authconfig on every server.

ipa-client-install enables PAM directory module on every FreeIPA client by default. This request is therefore not needed, nor realistic given current FreeIPA/IdM does not have remote system management capabilities.
