Description of problem:

Hibernate Fail in RHEL6.0 64bit in fake raid 0 mode

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1.Press "Ctrl+i" to enter fake raid Oprom
2.Create raid0
3.Install RHEL6.0 via PXE
  
Actual results:
1.After OS installation finished, when run hibernate, SUT didn't shut down power.
2.Change AHCI, the hibernate OK
3.Windows 2k8 r2 sp1 64bit,fake raid mode,hibernate-->PASS

Expected results:


Additional info:
1.Fake raid need dmraid-tool to support, I doubt the dmraid-utility impact the hibernate function in fake raid mode.
2. The PCH is intel Cougar Point Platform Controller Hub

Have you updated your machine with the recent BIOS? What's the current BIOS version?

Who manufactured the SUT, and what model is it?

Intel Fake Raid (BIOS RAID), that is intel matrix storage raid, also embeded in intel ICH10R chipset.

What kind of motherboard is it on?

It doesnot mattater with the kind of motherboard. BTW the CPU is sandybridge-DT,PCH is cougar point PCH. I think it just "Intel® Rapid Storage Technology (Intel® RST)" BIOS raid, we usually call it fake raid.

We need to know the motherboard in order to ensure that we reproduce the BIOS configuration.
