Description of problem:
SSO: Thunderbird preferences display empty "password required" dialog.

How reproducible:


Steps to Reproduce:
1. Logged into desktop with an enrolled smart card. 
2. Open thunderbird application.
3. In Thunderbird preferences select certificates, view certificates and add CA root certificate of smart card  as the authority.
4. Select security device and add coolkey library as a security device. 
5. Click on Validation. 

  
Actual results:
A password required dialog displayed (improperly) without any content.

When "password required" dialog is closed, the Certificate Validation dialog displayed.

Expected results:
Password required dialog should not be displayed. Only Certificate Validation dialog should be displayed.

Since RHEL 6.3 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

I don't have a smard card reader. Is there any customer interest? If not we're not going to fix it for RHEL.
