The positions in the properties dialog for the sliding panel are just the side to offset from, you can drag the panel wherever you want, including the center. I think the dialog is just leaking some implementation details it shouldn't. In any case, moving to http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=95136 (we don't typically make UI changes like this on the Red Hat level). Should add comments to the gnome.org bug for the panel developers to see. |
