Description Wouter Dhondt 1999-12-03 14:45:52 UTC
I have Windows NT installed on a first partition. On a second partition
(HDA5) i installed Linux 6.1 without any problems. Afterwarts i chose to
upgrade, so that some new components could be installed, and the
installation program hanged after i chose upgrade. I think the upgrade is
trying to mount the wrong partition for the upgrade. Both text and GUI
have the same result.

This is a known bug with the installer trying to mount the NTFS partitions that
you have as ext2, which is not a good thing (tm). You will need to download and
make use of the latest boot images on support.redhat.com/errata, as well as the
updates disk which is there as well. This will allow you to perform the
upgrade.
