The new version of Eagle from Cadsoft is requiring libpng14.so.14. I'm not sure why they don't like the older libpng. This is one of the few 3rd party commercial software packages I use with Fedora.

Actually, F-17 will have (already has) libpng 1.5.x ... we are skipping 1.4.x entirely.

So can libpng14 not live beside libpng12 or libpng15?

[ shrug... ]  I'm not going to support it.  If someone else wants to do the packaging work, I won't stand in the way.
