Description birger 2011-11-16 11:48:04 UTC
Description of problem:
After upgrading from f15 to f16 i only had the i686 version of caribou installed. This led to gnome-shell crashing. Trying to install the x86_64 version I got a message about file conflicts with the x86_64 package. I had to uninstall the i686 version and then install the x86_64 version. I do not know how/why I had the i686 version installed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

I see several people on the net have had this problem when upgrading. Is there a problem with the upgrade process?
