The warnings aren't fatal, I doubt the bug is in ccsm. It looks like a compiz plugin is at fault. I have the same since the last update of compiz/compiz-gtk ecc: $ rpm -qa | grep compiz compiz-fusion-extras-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 libcompizconfig-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compiz-gconf-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compiz-plugins-main-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compizconfig-python-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compiz-plugins-main-gconf-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compiz-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compiz-gtk-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compiz-manager-0.6.0-13.fc15.noarch and $ ccsm Backend : ini Integration : true Profile : default Adding plugins Initializing core options...done /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Utils.py:213: GtkWarning: Failed to set text from markup due to error parsing markup: Erreur à la ligne 1, caractère 140 : L'élément « markup » a été fermé, mais l'élément actuellement ouvert est « br » self.Warning.set_markup(self.Markup % value) /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Window.py:92: Warning: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed self.LeftPane.pack_start(page.LeftWidget, True, True) /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Window.py:95: Warning: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed self.show_all() /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Widgets.py:1570: Warning: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed self._table.attach (button, col, col+1, row, row+1, 0, xpadding=TableX, ypadding=TableY) Loading icons... /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/ccm/Widgets.py:1575: Warning: g_object_set_qdata: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed self.show_all () Initializing compiztoolbox options...done Initializing splash options...done Erreur de segmentation On Fedora 16, ccsm starts just fine, with the following packages installed: $ rpm -qa '*compiz*' | sort compiz-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc16.i686 compizconfig-python-0.9.5.94-0.1.gitb02413d104573641f293d535537821316ecb8f36.fc16.i686 compiz-fusion-extras-0.9.5.92-1.fc16.i686 compiz-gnome-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc16.i686 compiz-gtk-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc16.i686 compiz-manager-0.6.0-13.fc15.noarch compiz-plugins-main-0.9.5.92-1.fc16.i686 compiz-plugins-main-gconf-0.9.5.92-1.fc16.i686 libcompizconfig-0.9.5.92-1.fc16.i686 On F15 that was the request, I have: $ rpm -qa '*compiz*' | sort compiz-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compizconfig-python-0.9.5.94-0.1.gitb02413d104573641f293d535537821316ecb8f36.fc15.i686 compiz-fusion-extras-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compiz-gconf-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compiz-gtk-0.9.5.92.1-0.1.gite676f1b12eb8db3a76978eed5bfc7c2cf9a0b6ce.fc15.i686 compiz-manager-0.6.0-13.fc15.noarch compiz-plugins-main-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 compiz-plugins-main-gconf-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 libcompizconfig-0.9.5.92-1.fc15.i686 I see that I have no compiz-gnome, but instead I have a compiz-gconf.
