Description of problem:

After running apper update there is an invisible apper icon in the 
tray which I can only get rid of ater restarting the desktop.

How reproducible:
Every update.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run update
2.

Actual results:
Apper icon disappears and a space is left in the tray which when you hover over it says 'apper'.

Expected results:
Program and icon to disappear from the tray.
