A majority of transaction managers serialize an XAResource to a transaction log in order to be able to automatically recover these resources for in-doubt transactions. Without this capability, implementing recovery for an XAResource generally requires vendor specific API's for registration and recovery.

QpidRAXAResource should be made serializable to work with a variety of TransactionManagers without having to resort to vendor specific API's.

Currently we have other avenues to aid in recovery. As such I am closing this bug as it is no longer valid.
