The popup should probably not show up if there's no mouse motion towards it. It's stealing focus, and would cause even more trouble on touch devices where the position of the cursor is hidden. May be i should have open this on the gnome bugzilla site... Looks like someone already did: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=649028 Focus stealing is actually a different GNOME bug (linked to above) - fix for that will be in a 3.2.2 bugfix update. mutter-3.2.2-1.fc16,gnome-shell-3.2.2-1.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/mutter-3.2.2-1.fc16,gnome-shell-3.2.2-1.fc16 Package mutter-3.2.2-1.fc16, gnome-shell-3.2.2-1.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing mutter-3.2.2-1.fc16 gnome-shell-3.2.2-1.fc16' as soon as you are able to.
