Can you let me know if you installed and tried to run polipo before a system reboot? If so, can you try manually removing /var/run/polipo (after stopping it) and then reboot and let me know if the directory is created correctly? I installed polipo, and wanted to use it right away. And if i remove the directory, and reboot, it got correctly recreated. polipo-1.0.4.1-6.fc16 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 16. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/polipo-1.0.4.1-6.fc16 polipo-1.0.4.1-6.fc15 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 15. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/polipo-1.0.4.1-6.fc15 Package polipo-1.0.4.1-6.fc16: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 16 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days.
