Previously, a missing kernel module prevented netconsole from functioning. The missing kernel module has now been included, and netconsole functions correctly.

Tested on 6.2-0.5 6.2-0.12 and 6.2-17.1, the same issue on these builds. Tested on 6.1-20110926.1.hf739477.el6_1, the same issue on this build. Remove regression keywords. And need to confirm whether this bug must fix in 6.2?

Verified on 6.3-20120215 build, netconsole service run normal after configure it in log page, and it can send kernel message to remote server.

Description of problem: After configure netconsole in logging, it does not work, service failed to run. [root@localhost log]# service netconsole start Initializing netconsole WARNING: Could not open '/lib/modules/2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64/kernel/fs/configfs/configfs.ko': No such file or directory FATAL: Error inserting netconsole (/lib/modules/2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64/kernel/drivers/net/netconsole.ko): Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg) [FAILED] Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 6.2-20111117.0 How reproducible: 100%. Steps to Reproduce: 1. configure netconsole in logging Actual results: it does not work, service failed to run. . Expected results: netconsole work well. Additional info: 1. Test it on RHEL6.2 (2.6.32-220), after configure and start it, netconsole works well. 2. Remount rhevh-6.2-20111117.0 to read-write and copy configfs.ko from RHEL6.2(2.6.32-220), then netconsole service can be started and works well.
