Hi Daniel, Don't really understand? Cython is already released within EPEL6? Steve It is not in EPEL6, but if someone wants to take the Fedora package and recompile it for RHEL6/CENTOS6 or any other RPM-based distro, it fails with the error I described in comment#0. Cython is in EPEL6? $ repoquery --location Cython http://linuxsoft.cern.ch/epel/6/x86_64/Cython-0.14.1-3.el6.x86_64.rpm which is our local mirror? Steve. This message is a reminder that Fedora 16 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 16. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '16'. Created attachment 534759 [details] Include egg-info when %rhel >= 6. Compilation fails on unpackaged egg-info file on rhel6. I've added a patch which fixes it (you can apply it on the f16 distgit branch).
