Quote characters are not allowed in man pages? Surely cut&paste is a secondary consideration compared to supplying the required information. Works for me in Xterm. # cibadmin \fB\-\-delete\fR \fB\-\-xml\-text\fR '<primitive id="old"/>' This is a problem in groff/troff/man. |
Description of problem: Some of the man pages contain strange apostrophes instead of single quotes (''). This makes the examples cut&paste unfriendly (as the command is invalid as it stands). I suggest correcting these. For example cibadmin has correct examples when run from command line and incorrect in the man page.
