Description coffeeman 2011-11-23 20:02:01 UTC
Description of problem: When running yum --quiet I am still seeing output, albeit less than running non-quiet. Adding -e o or -d 0 does not change anything, nor does reinstalling yum.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.4.3-5.fc16

How reproducible: 100% for me, not for others.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum --quiet update -y

Actual results:
Yum outputs a single line:
Setting up Update Process

Expected results:
Yum outputs nothing

Additional info:
I noticed this initially because of yum-cron sending me daily emails after an upgrade from f14 to f15 and f15 to f16 using yum. I have reinstalled the package to help ensure that this is not caused by a yum upgrade and I do not believe that it is.
