comment:
:I was reading through my feeds inside Google Reader using the Google Chrome browser. I was not going through my feeds very fast, but something in the loading/caching part of the feeds seemed to go horribly amiss.
:Lately this browser in combination with Google Reader seems to be able to trigger various problems with btrfs.

3.1 is very old. Are you seeing this with the 3.4 or 3.5 kernel updates?

This report is also very old.
I had forgotten about it and moved to ext4.
