Description Jan "Yenya" Kasprzak 2011-11-24 09:49:18 UTC
Description of problem:
After upgrade F14->F16, my system logs the following AVC:

[ 1989.875499] type=1400 audit(1322126852.599:81): avc:  denied  { read } for  pid=1825 comm="python" name="urandom" dev=devtmpfs ino=1033 scontext=system_u:system_r:mailman_mail_t:s0 tcontext=system_u:object_r:urandom_device_t:s0 tclass=chr_file

which audit2allow transforms as

allow mailman_mail_t urandom_device_t:chr_file read;

I think the new python seeds its RNG from /dev/urandom.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
mailman-2.1.14-9.fc16.x86_64
selinux-policy-targeted-3.10.0-56.fc16.noarch

Additional info:
Note that I have upgraded F14->F16 using yum as described here:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Upgrading_Fedora_using_yum
I have then relabeled the filesystem using "restorecon -R /" and rebooted.
I might have done something wrong - in that case I apologize for for the noise.
